Hi again.

This weekend I was commissioned to take photographs of Harley - Davidsons and Honda Gold wings at ou local village gala day. As I am a bit of a bike nut I agreed, however, the event was rained off more or less as soon as it started a monsoon came over and that was that. Pity.

I did, however, manage a couple of pics so here they are.

Just to remind everyone that St Andrews is also a beautiful place even in wintertime when these photo's were taken.

I came across them when clearing out hundreds of photo's from my hard drive to get more space. Even though I have a half terrabyte drive, I find , because I shoot in RAW format all the time, space is used up a helluva lot quicker these days!

Hi.
I had a very early start this week to go up north for a commercial assignment and the sun was just breaking the horizon. I grabbed my camera and I took these shots within about two minutes. any later and I would have missed the light.

I was out and about the other night coming back from a photographic session with a company and it struck me as being a "nice night" for car light photographs, using just the light from car head and tail lights to give a different perspective. What do you think? Angus

Hi again

Sorry I havent been around recently but I've a good excuse. my son has presented me with a fantastic grandson (Jack) and I have neglected the blog. Photo's enclosed. Sorry my ugly mug is in one of the shots but grandad's pride forces this on my faithful readers.

I will be updating my blog regularly from now on with the best bits from my work so TTFN.

Had a couple of assignments recently that was more of a pleasure than a job.

One was the photographing of a family af four (Garry & Alex)and some photo's are on the website. Always one of my favorite types of assignment.

As most of you know, I am the phptographer for a very worthwhile charity called Dreamz4u (Website dreamz4u.co.uk) which does marvellous work for disadvantaged children. Their tally of dreams they have brought true at the moment is 304. Not bad for a charity that only started two years ago. This particular assignment was for photographing a girl meeting Dominic Kirwan, the Irish singer at his sellout show in the Adam Smith Centre in Kirkcaldy on Sunday night (12th April). Nice fella. Spent a lot of time with the kids and showed a real compassion for them. Photo's on my website

HI there.
Vry interesting month with a visit to the Scottish photographic show which gave me plenty of ideas for the coming year which I want to expand on.

A few portrait sittings this month which I loved - photography is my passion and the best is photographing children and weddings. These photographs in particular are more and more appreciated as time goes by.

As official photographer for the Dreamz4u charity, an organisation that helps terminally ill, disabled or underprivelidged children. I donate my time and equipment free of charge to this very worthwhile charity. I have just completed an assignment photographing a parachute jump for them recently at Strathallan airfield, midway between Perth & Crieff. The jump was completed by Emma and Sue, two local girls who volunteered to jump out of a plane at 10,500 feet in freezing weather. The jump raised quite a bit of money to help the children so thank you to the girls who completed the jump! They were terrified! Well done!

I also had an assignment for another charity which I donate time to, the Dundee Childrens Cancer charity based in Ninewells hospital to take photographs of the dinner guests. The evening was a great success, raising over fifteen thousand pounds for the cause. Well done again!

Lastly, a booked portrait sitting for a mum and her wee girl who were a joy to photograph as they were both so photogenic. I love this type of photography as it is so rewarding.
